Reservation policy

The rental of a campsite is for a family of 2 adults and their 4 children under 18 years of age. Any additional person being considered as an overnight visitor, visitor fees are applicable.

Arrival times are after 1 p.m. and departure before 1 p.m. A fee of $ 5.00 per hour will be charged for an early arrival, whether your lot is available or not.

For customers staying 2 nights or more, it is possible to postpone your departure time until 5:00 p.m. at no additional cost depending on the availability of the site. You must inform yourself of this on the morning of your departure otherwise you will be charged for a late departure.

Upon arrival, upon check-in, you must pay the full number of nights reserved. No refund, deduction or purchase discount is possible for a late arrival or for an early departure.

If you plan to arrive after 9 p.m., let us know so you don’t lose your land and avoid paying the costs. For reservations for which the campers have still not arrived on the scheduled day and who have not reached an agreement with the campsite, the latter will give the unoccupied site for rent from 11:00 am the next day and the applicable fees will be deducted or non-refundable .

A minimum of 2 nights is required to book during weekends, and 3 nights for holidays in June, July and September.

Internet booking: 

To make a reservation, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the stay is required. A fee of $ 4.00 (non-refundable) will be added for reservations made online.

CANCELLATION:

If you wish to cancel your reservation more than 7 days before your arrival date, an administration fee of $ 10.00 will be charged to you and we will refund the balance of the deposit to your credit card, less the reservation fee of $ 4.00 .

The rate of one night will be retained for any cancellation made between 7 days and 48 hours before the date of your stay. After this period, no refund of the deposit will be made.

If you fail to cancel your reservation or if you do not show up, your entire deposit will be kept and your site will be made available for rental the next day at 11:00 a.m.

MODIFICATION :

It is possible to change the dates of your reservation without charge if you do it more than 7 days before your arrival and if you respect the number of nights reserved. There is no charge to increase the number of overnight stays.

If you wish to decrease the number of nights reserved, it is possible to do so more than 7 days before your arrival date. 25% of each canceled night will be retained. At 7 days or less from your arrival, no reduction in the nights reserved is permitted nor any change of date.

Reservation by Phone (from mid-April to mid-October):

Telephone reservations are made with a valid credit card until your stay. A deposit of 50% of the cost of the stay is required. For reservations of one night only, the full cost of the night is requested as a deposit.

Regulations

For the well-being of all and in order to be able to live together in harmony, here is a non-exhaustive list of campsite regulations.

Animals :

Campers’ animals are welcome, however they are not allowed on the beach, in front of the restaurant and the picnic areas. Not being allowed in the places mentioned, visitors who come for the beach with their animal (s) will be refused access to the campsite. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. When going for walks you must have collection bags. The owner of the animal must immediately collect the excrement from any location.

If an animal disturbs other campers, the owner will be asked to either bring the animal to the house or leave the field without the possibility of reimbursement.

Arrivals and departures (Camper):

Upon departure, the cleanliness of your property is required. Do not leave any waste on your property or in the rings of fire. You must take them to the appropriate containers or you will be charged. No refund, deduction or purchase discount is possible for an early departure.

Arrivals and departures (visitor):

Visitors must pay the costs of access to the campsite. Visitors are admitted between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

All visitors must have left the campsite before curfew. (10 p.m. weekdays, 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays) otherwise they will have to pay the cost for the night.

Swimming:

At the beginning and end of the season it is always better to call us to find out if the beach is open (before June 20 and after August 16). Variable time depending on traffic and weather.

Water slides open ($ 6.00) for 2020: June 20-21, June 24 to August 16, 2020, as well as Saturdays and Sundays before Labor Day (weather permitting, subject to change without notice ). From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Swimming is only permitted during the day under the supervision of our lifeguards. The rescuer has the right to evict anyone who does not comply with the regulations. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. No glass containers are allowed on the beach.

Noises and Curfew:

The curfew is at 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and at 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. No noise likely to be heard from the neighboring site is allowed. All music should be turned off completely. Please respect your neighbor campers who want to sleep.

After these hours, no strolls are allowed in the common areas. Customers must be on their respective grounds. During the day, the noise should not disturb the neighbors.

Your musical choice may not be that of your neighbors, please put the music for you and not for those around you. The use of firecrackers and fireworks is prohibited on the campsite.

Traffic, vehicles etc:

Priority is given to children, pedestrians and bicycles. Exaggerated use of the car is prohibited, rather travel on foot or by bicycle. The maximum speed on the campsite is 10 km / h for all motorized vehicles

Motorcycles, scooters, mountain bikes, golf karts, etc. are prohibited. Visitors must leave their motorbikes at the entrance. Electric carts for children are prohibited (mini car, jeep, mountain bike etc)

Only adults are allowed to use an electric bike. Bikes are prohibited after dark. They are not allowed on the beach, restaurant and picnic areas. Only one car is permitted per leased site, any other additional vehicle must be stored in the visitors’ parking lot. It is forbidden to park along the streets, on the lakeside, on the beach, on the picnic area or on vacant land. Parking is provided for this purpose.

Glass container:

Glass bottles, alcoholic or not (beer, mineral water etc) as well as any glass container (wine cup, ketchup, marinade etc) are prohibited on the entire campsite with the exception of your rented site. Please allow cans or plastic for your walks or days at the beach.

Waste:

At all times, customers are called upon to contribute to the cleanliness of the campsite, their site, or their space occupied on the beach.
You must deposit your waste and your recovery in the containers provided for this purpose near the restaurant. If you have boxes, you must unpack them before placing them in the containers.
You must bring your large household waste with you (old BBQ, propane tank, fridges, chairs, tables, etc.). Otherwise, you will be charged.

Lights and Fireplace:

It is permitted to make fires only in the fireplaces installed on each site. On the other hand, you must comply with the burning prohibition notices of SOPFEU and / or the Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur fire safety service.

A reminder from the MRC, it is prohibited at all times to burn: construction materials, waste, tires or rubber object, leaves (very volatile) and garden residue.

It is forbidden to move the circles of fire. It is forbidden to make fireworks to burn firecrackers as well as Chinese lanterns,
The height of your fire must be moderate and safe. The fireplaces are not garbage cans, do not leave your waste there, cleaning costs will be charged.

Environment and Respect for nature:

It is prohibited at all times to wash your vehicle. Travelers are not allowed to wash their recreational equipment. Rompers, water games and inflatable pools are prohibited.

The use of ecological and phosphate-free soaps is encouraged.
It is forbidden to plant nails, cut or damage trees in any way.

Any damage or degradation of the site, infrastructure or material available will be charged to their author.

Behavior and Responsibility:

Children are the responsibility of their parents at all times. You are responsible for their safety.
Behaviors deemed immoral, aggressive, abusive or profane are in no way tolerated. Any behavior that could disturb the well-being of other customers will not be tolerated.

Firearms, pellet rifles, arrow or any other weapon whatsoever are prohibited under penalty of confiscation and expulsion.

Picnic table:

A picnic table is provided per location. If you move it from the ground, please put it back on your ground when you leave.

Be careful with portable BBQs so as not to damage the tables provided. Repair or replacement costs (up to $ 75) will be billed directly to campers who have damaged their picnic table.

To note:

Any person, upon arrival, agrees to read the regulations and comply with them during their stay, under penalty of expulsion without any compensation or reimbursement whatsoever. You are also responsible for ensuring that your visitors comply with these regulations. All campers must have fire, theft, vandalism and public liability insurance.

The management cannot, in any case, be held responsible for a partial or total lack of electricity, water, as well as falling trees or branches.

The Campsite is not responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur on the ground or in the practice of activities. It is also not responsible for breakage, fires, theft or vandalism.

Please note that if management should restrict or prohibit access to the water, playgrounds etc. for reasons beyond its control, no modification, cancellation or refund will be granted.

Other regulations apply to seasonal campers:

Management reserves the right to refuse any person to ensure safety and tranquility for its customers. Camping du Lac Mineur aims to be peaceful and harmonious. Anyone not respecting these regulations or showing disrespectful or harmful behavior towards anyone who can bring about his immediate eviction without any refund. The management reserves the right to modify these regulations without prior notice.
